What is a birth chart?

A birth chart (also called a natal chart) is a map of the sky at your exact moment of birth — the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and angles, expressed through the twelve signs and houses. It's the foundation for everything else in personal astrology.

How accurate is your birth chart calculator?

Calculations use Swiss Ephemeris, the same astronomical library most professional astrology software relies on. Planetary positions are accurate to the minute of arc.

Do I need my exact birth time for an accurate birth chart?

An exact birth time is essential for the rising sign (Ascendant) and house cusps — even a few minutes' difference can shift them. Without it, planetary signs and aspects still calculate correctly, but house placements won't be reliable.

How does the chart work on this site?

Each planet on the chart wheel is clickable. Selecting a planet shows its sign, house placement, dignities, and aspects to every other planet — without leaving the chart view.

Is my birth data kept private?

Yes. Your birth information is stored securely and never shared with third parties. You control your data and can delete it anytime from your account settings.

What house systems do you support?

Placidus, Whole Sign, Koch, Equal House, and several others. You can switch between systems in chart settings — the choice often depends on which interpretive tradition you're working in.
