( 1 ) About These Terms
These Terms govern your use of AskNova Astrology ("AskNova", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website at asknovaastrology.com and all related tools, charts, content, and features (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
( 2 ) What AskNova Is (and Isn't)
AskNova is an astrology platform that provides tools for generating and exploring astrological charts — including natal, transit, synastry, composite, solar return, and other chart types — along with educational content and daily horoscopes.
The Service is for entertainment, educational, and informational purposes only. Astrological content provided through AskNova does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other form of professional advice. Please do not make important life decisions based solely on astrological information — always consult qualified professionals for serious matters.
While we use the Swiss Ephemeris to ensure NASA-grade accuracy in our planetary calculations, this accuracy relates to the astronomical data. Astrological interpretations are inherently subjective.
AskNova Astrology and AskNova Astrocartography are separate products with separate subscriptions and terms.
( 3 ) Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian consents to your use.
( 4 ) Your Account
If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, please contact us at hello@asknovaastrology.com.
Without an account, your birth data is stored locally in your browser. With an account, it may be stored on our servers for syncing. You can delete saved profiles through your account settings, or email us at hello@asknovaastrology.com to delete your account entirely.
( 5 ) Subscriptions and Payment
AskNova offers a free tier and a paid Premium plan. Premium subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or annually) and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
You can cancel any time through your account settings. After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least one day before renewal.
Refunds are considered case-by-case. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price increase. For billing questions, email hello@asknovaastrology.com.
( 6 ) Acceptable Use
Please use the Service lawfully and respectfully. In particular, do not:
- Attempt to access our systems, servers, or other users' accounts without authorisation.
- Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools to extract content from the Service.
- Copy or commercially redistribute our content, charts, or educational materials without permission.
- Interfere with the security or performance of the Service.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
( 7 ) Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including software, chart designs, interpretations, articles, graphics, and logos — is owned by or licensed to AskNova and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of your birth data. Any feedback or suggestions you share with us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
( 8 ) Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any astrological interpretations for any particular purpose.
( 9 ) Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, our total liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data or profits.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
( 10 ) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not affect your mandatory consumer protection rights or your right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. If you are a consumer elsewhere with mandatory local protections, those protections apply.
( 11 ) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' notice via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
