AskNova began with a personal passion for astrology. What started in 2018 as a simple hobby gradually grew into a deep exploration of the logic and traditions behind them. Over the years, I found myself wishing for a platform that was both fun and friendly for learners, yet still rigorous enough to learn something real, grounded in tradition.

In 2025, AskNova was born under this vision.

( 1 ) Our Purpose

AskNova is designed for curious minds who want to learn, explore, and experiment with astrology without feeling overwhelmed. We hope to create a space that:

• Makes learning astrology intuitive and enjoyable
• Preserves the depth and integrity of the subject
• Bridges ancient wisdom with modern understanding

AskNova is still young and evolving every month. It's far from perfect, and growth is certainly part of the journey. So yes, your constructive feedback is always welcome.

( 2 ) Our Approach to Astrology

My journey started with Modern Astrology, but eventually expanded into Hellenistic and traditional techniques.

At AskNova Astrology, we draw from both. Modern Astrology gives the psychological vocabulary most readers already know; Hellenistic adds the technical precision that makes specific patterns legible in the chart. Both perspectives show up across our charting tools and learning resources.

( 3 ) Our Commitment to Accuracy

Astrology depends on calculation before interpretation.

AskNova Astrology uses the Swiss Ephemeris with a professional licence for planetary calculations. Swiss Ephemeris is widely used in astrology software and is known for its high-precision astronomical data.

We care about this because chart work depends on details. Birth time, location, house cusps, planetary positions, angles, and timing techniques all rely on accurate calculation. The interpretation can only be as useful as the chart underneath it.

AskNova aims to be a space where astrology becomes:

• Simple but not oversimplified
• Useful in concrete ways — applying/separating, dignified or debilitated, named not vibed
• Beautiful because my Libra Venus says it has to be :)

AskNova covers the standard chart toolkit — birth, transits, returns, progressions — alongside relationship work (synastry, composite, davison, plus the synastry portrait) and a daily horoscope read off your real chart. For locational astrology, our sister site Astrocartography handles the where.
